As the Krowholian village of Fairmarrd is attacked by Zildrahdite forces led by the feared Imperial General, Volkolg the Scarred, chaos erupts across the battlefield. Standing atop the rubble of a fallen building, Volkolg raises the severed head of a Krowholian archer into the air, striking fear into every soldier who witnesses the brutal display.
